It's almost four years since this famous press briefing by the Honourable Minister of Public Enterprises, Mr Pravin Jamnandas Gordhan. This was after the unrelenting generation capacity constraints that necessitated loadshedding from 14 - 23 March 2019.

I notice that this latest ⁦Meridian Economics⁩ report that claims that RE of 5GW could have reduced loadshedding by 71-92% received muted responses also from its supporters. It is shocking that such engineering fantasies even receive airtime.

Here’s this German saying ⁦CR⁩ was bribed & pushed by Europe to destroy Eskom & adopt #renewables. In the full vid he says coal power plants are not hard to run! All our competent qualified black engineers agree. It’s fools & agents of capital here who don’t get it.

The fightback against the Minister of Electricity is on steroids. If you don't see it, then you are too slow. I can assure you that ANC - African National Congress will not defend his position. There is an invisible hand out here pooling the strings.

IPPs vow to drag Eskom to the Constitutional Court for refusing them self-entitled relief that could jeopardize our national grid stability. Meanwhile, SA Post Office has been placed on provisional liquidation due to unpaid rentals on leased properties. moneyweb.co.za/news/south-afr…

News24 🇿🇦 News24 Business So many project options to extend the lifecycle on these old stations like refurbishment, re-implementation, modernization projects, etc but khongolose must eat by decommissioning facilities that are still functional to the detriment of the country, the people and economy.

Business Day People who say such things should be arrested for treason. Plunging the country into darkness is economic sabotage and a treasonous offence. Makaboshwe!
