Global #ElectricVehicles production (BEVs & PHEVs) up 35% in 2023, compared to 2022. Some serious growth by leading EV manufacturers over the last few years. Almost 14 million BEVs and PHEVs supplied in 2023, roughly 15% of total vehicles.
Each year the availability (EAF) of Eskom Hld SOC Ltd power stations has declined. Against a target of 65% for 2023/24 they achieved only 54%.
But does the recent uptick (with no load-shedding over the past week) represent a turnaround? Too early to tell.
