Good morning! Don’t forget about this creep and the systems that give him permission to endanger domestic violence survivors seeking help! Don’t forget Neil Punchard’s name and story when women in your life tell you they don’t feel safe going to police! theguardian.com/australia-news…

I think it's really important to include situational disability (ie. holding a baby) & temporary disability (ie. broken arm) when it comes to a11y conversations. This normalizes accessibility needs to cover a larger swathe of your user base, helping prioritize it on your team.

It’s been a long 5 weeks under lockdown for many Victorians and there’s still a long way to go. During this time #abc730 captured images that show how much life in Melb & parts of Vic changed. George Stirling, Australian Boys Choir, sings Meet Me In The Middle Of The Air Chris Gillett

I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life but the fact that I’ve never been invited to a gender reveal party means I’ve cut the right people out.

If your answer to a disappointing outcome is to abuse people and vent your disgust with performance on Twitter you are only causing pain. It doesn’t serve you, nor does it serve the broader community. The players leave their hearts on the field, trust me. #AFLSaintsBulldogs

I don't want to give this person's disgraceful, bigoted views any oxygen. But when others insist on rewarding them with this country's highest honour – I think it's worth saying again: Grand Slam wins don't give you some right to spew hatred and create division. Nothing does.

Big thanks to Anikó Házi and Daniel Oberbillig for their fantastic talks on the evolution of an app and exploring data visualisation libraries. We had two newcomers Rhiannon – a pentester / brute force hacker and Belinda – a microbiologist curious about code. What a great night! 👏

Rain, hail or snap lockdown.. Tonight's meetup was like hanging with friends from the early days. Thanks to Chloe Letitia-May for a thorough talk on testing best practices and @stephstuffr for showing us a low code workflow in Azure.
