This is my trucker. My stepdad is on the road 3.5 weeks/month, 13 hour/day, hauling groceries & other goods across borders 2 keep 🇨🇦 going. Double vaxxed & boosted, always masked, always careful and when home his 1 day off, an activist for strong public health measures. 🙏❤️

I am sickened to see protesters dance on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and desecrate the National War Memorial. Generations of Canadians have fought and died for our rights, including free speech, but not this. Those involved should hang their heads in shame.

I keep seeing people use the term "divided" regarding COVID vaccines. It's not true. 90% of British Columbians (12+) have 2+ vaccines. Double vaccination has an approval rate that kittens would envy. It may be one of the least divisive topics in our society.

We cancelled our The New York Times subscription over its Ottawa coverage. I know what it’s like to make a journalistic mistake. It happens. You acknowledge, apologize and do better. Instead, they dug in & downplayed a major mischaracterization of the truth. I just can’t support that.
