Technology plays a critical role in providing rich learning opportunities for our students. Many hours of work and planning go into all of the elements necessary for digital learning. Today, we honor our technology staff for their hard work & dedication to our district.

Middle school teachers from each track met with Dr. Roosevelt Nivens this morning as part of his Staff Advisory Council Meetings. They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, especially when teachers can spend it exchanging ideas with the Superintendent!

I was honored to join Ms. Ella Banks today as she celebrated her retirement after 40 years of serving our Lamar CISD children as a bus driver. We are so fortunate to have folks like her caring for our students from the first moment they step on the bus in the AM. LCISD Transportation

At tonight’s school board meeting, our Trustees recognized some of our FCCLA National Champions and our first ever District Holiday Art Contest winners! Our students continue to do BIG things here in Lamar CISD and we couldn’t be more proud! 🤩🍎
