The amusement continued to play in his gaze but not because he thought less of his companion. Stories. Rumors. Tales. Fables. It fascinated him. “And what if I wanted to keep you as my pet, Violet? Are you not fond of collars and leashes and chains?” he purred.

That blush was undeniable, which gave Aelish his answer. “Is that why your *partner* calls your Violence?” Oh he had seen the two of them together. Then were almost inseparable… except for this moment it seemed. Lucky for Aelish.

The edge of a challenge was a tease. “Such a pity. I would have loved to see you on your knees. Like the good boy I’m sure you are.”

He watched him intently, smirking when he finished his statement. Aelish leaned back in the booth, arm draped over the back causally as he inspected his nails. Feigning disinterest of course- too comfortable? Him? Please. “Says the one of us who isn’t otherworldly.”

“If we are being honest this is the first time I’ve spent this much time with a mundane… a human,” he corrected. “As for Snow, my King seems to be under the weather as of late, and if she is resting it tends to give me more time.”

He made no protests, especially regarding the additional alcohol. “Is that a personal invitation? I can’t say I know my way around well enough to even know where to begin. Tell me- what is the allure of the human world?”
