Powerful research-growing teachers through collaboration and learning new ways of instructing students. A continual cycle of enactment and reflection should be non-negotiable in education. Teachers should have the opportunity, daily, to reflect and refine practices together.

Equity work involves both unlearning and relearning. Dr. Anneliese A. Singh's Racial Healing Handbook is comprised of readings and exercises that allow us to deeply explore our racial identities and participate in a process of collective healing and transformation.

I am honored and blessed to work alongside these brave 4th grade math teachers Carson Elementary. They amaze me with their deep thinking and immediate implementation of research based strategies. Being the owner of your own learning and having time to reflect collectively is powerful!

This is what the world has always needed, now more than ever. I’m a firm believer in the power of people using their voice, collectively, in order to connect. Something powerful happens when people listen, see, observe, & reciprocate, even in the most difficult conversations.
