Living the UK Building Safety Scandal. (@safetyscandaluk) 's Twitter Profile Photo

‼️⬇️ what a load of waffle in your response Alex Norris MP You literally have at your fingertips a plethora of BSF files with details of builders (incl Home Builders Federation members) who have built in breach of safety regs). And Co Directors facing no jail time? Sanctions? Matthew Pennycook MP

8 years ago 72 innocent lives were lost in the Grenfell tragedy. Let down by those who should’ve protected them in their homes. The same survivors and families are still tirelessly fighting for justice. It should never have happened. The time for action is today, not tomorrow.

It’s my opinion that it’s too politically inconvenient to build safe homes. The builders don’t like it and The Labour Party are very clear that they’re “backing the builders.”

On BBC Politics, Neil Garratt AM explains to The Labour Party what they should already know. "We have to make sure that all of those new properties aren't suffering the same problems" Whilst Keir Starmer won't resolve a single defective new build in his constituency.

Peter knows more about this than I do but I’d offer even in this scenario it’ll be the homeowner left carrying the can. 1. Insurers will just refuse claims 2. Governments, scared of the building sector, will throw people under the bus How do I know this? It’s already happening!

Pleased to have contributed to this. The ongoing push for justice and change post Grenfell still needs public support, and I really hope this film can be a catalyst for that: theguardian.com/film/2025/jun/…

Dan Bruce This is a great advert. for the Grenfell cause but for me and I guess you Dan, not a doc. we can learn much from? Let us hope all the tears and deaths prick the conscience of the ignorant general public but we need a well researched BBC. tv. documentary that will probe the past!

Just read the latest @eocs_official/UK Cladding Action Group email update. This is spot on: "Long story short, Labour is failing to keep its manifesto commitments on building safety and has chosen to back the builders and protect the interests of business rather than ordinary people."

Dan Bruce (@dannybster) 's Twitter Profile Photo

How is the public meant to trust that a man who can’t even resolve one defective new build in his own constituency can build safe, high quality social homes? This feels like the epoch of the next building safety crisis!

Dan Bruce (@dannybster) 's Twitter Profile Photo

It shouldn’t be the victims responsibility to pursue justice. Safe homes should be a right enshrined in law. Before the election The Labour Party took this stance but now it seems it’s all about unconditionally “backing the builders”

Matthew Pennycook MP Matthew, it is at this stage I urge you to please use your powers to deliver for residents of Agar Grove - such as Dan Bruce His developer can only be described as a con man & the instructions that had moral and contractual obligations to help him have dismally failed. You

Dan Bruce Matthew Pennycook MP I think new home numbers are a good aspiration, but we also need to track major defects too. I.e - major defects per 1,000 homes etc & have robust refund and compensation protections in place for defrauded buyers.

Dan Bruce (@dannybster) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Matt Lismore Matthew Pennycook MP I agree, it’s a great aspiration, but we shouldn’t foist poor quality homes on people because of an aspiration. There’s plenty of routes to delivering safe, high quality homes, but nothing revealed so far suggests this gen of homes will be better than the last. It’s people like
