8 years ago 72 innocent lives were lost in the Grenfell tragedy. Let down by those who should’ve protected them in their homes. The same survivors and families are still tirelessly fighting for justice. It should never have happened. The time for action is today, not tomorrow.

Dodgy developers seems a far cry from “backing the builders”

It’s my opinion that it’s too politically inconvenient to build safe homes. The builders don’t like it and The Labour Party are very clear that they’re “backing the builders.”

On BBC Politics, Neil Garratt AM explains to The Labour Party what they should already know. "We have to make sure that all of those new properties aren't suffering the same problems" Whilst Keir Starmer won't resolve a single defective new build in his constituency.

Peter knows more about this than I do but I’d offer even in this scenario it’ll be the homeowner left carrying the can. 1. Insurers will just refuse claims 2. Governments, scared of the building sector, will throw people under the bus How do I know this? It’s already happening!

How is the public meant to trust that a man who can’t even resolve one defective new build in his own constituency can build safe, high quality social homes? This feels like the epoch of the next building safety crisis!

As has been said repeatedly. No one has lost their job, been jailed, or held accountable in any way.

It shouldn’t be the victims responsibility to pursue justice. Safe homes should be a right enshrined in law. Before the election The Labour Party took this stance but now it seems it’s all about unconditionally “backing the builders”
