Patients deserve and GPs need a new general practice deal in England from the next Government.

A 2% increase in funding representing another 2% cut, after years of real terms cuts
Funding has risen from £153/patient/year in 2016 to £165, equivalent to a 20% cut £35
Enough for 2 extra GPs for an average practice

Government have failed their election pledges
2015 - 5000 more GPs
2019 - 6000 more GPs

Is it any wonder when they & NHSE have reduced GP Practice funding by 20% £/patient since 2016, only funded additional roles at expense of GPs

GPs leaving, practices closing, GPs unemployed

yet it's ok for drs to: conceal large financial conflicts of interest, offer utterly non evidence based £££ whole body screening nonsense, prescribe garbage for autism, spread myths about vaccination harm, or inject people with expensive evidence-free vitamin infusions for lucre

Absolutely. The increasing complexity of these ‘GP to kindly’ tasks mean:

1) We work ourselves to burnout in between clinics and after hours to complete them, or

2) We book them into appointment slots and therefore pts who are trying to get a GP appointment can’t get them, or
