The assumption from care home and hospital staff up and down the country was that the pandemic was a command-and-control situation. Guidance should be followed, and it was. If the PM wants a post-mortem, he should look again at the guidance. Not the people that followed it.

Watched the PM waiting for him to mention care homes and yet again, no mention! One of the thousands in waiting....

Really excited that our team @medicineuon have been invited to lead the care home test bed for COVID point of care tests as part of the CONDOR study. Quick COVID test results in care homes could transform our response as the pandemic continues.

It was a great pleasure and privilege to be part of FoNS Teaching Care Homes. Our analytical and influential learning has stood us in good stead to stand up to Covid-19.

This is my youngest son, Isaac. It is his Barmitzvah tomorrow and there was to have been a party afterwards. But now the party has had to be postponed. But he will still be reading from the Torah, albeit online from home. I know how much he’d love to see your likes and messages.

Feeling numb - lost 9 family members (residents) in last few days. They seem to pick up and then plummet around days 8 to 10. Staff are working so hard but broken inside. So proud of Wren Hall Nursing Home Nursing care team working with minimal support from MDT. GP and Air Liquide are fab!
