Every time I try to use another AI tool, I end up unimpressed. Nothing seems to beat just doing it yourself. Only valid use case I've found is using chatgpt for learning and some very specific software development tasks. It's basically better Google. What am I missing?

Squarespace had a bug last week that deleted our entire webpage structure, AND opened our private pages to the public. We requested a credit, and they referred us to the TOS re: warranty of service. As an attorney and entrepreneur, I am appalled at this response.

Presently, the most valuable way to use AI is to learn something new. Being able to type, "Tell me how X works", and then continue to go as deep as you want is unmatched with any other tool. Other tasks it seems average. I'm hopeful its use cases expand in the future though.

as much as leetcode sucks, it does make you a better developer. unclear if it should be the first line of defense when hiring developers though.

Where's the best place to do a deep dive into LLMs (langchain, pinecone, whatever)? Looking at courses on Udemy, Maven, etc. But what are the best free resources (YT, repos)? Prefer complex examples over getting started stuff.

I'm pretty pumped about more games being played directly in your web browser (@AmbientRun ): ambient.run/blog/platform Especially as the average pc becomes more powerful and internet speeds become faster, buying a dedicated device to game will slowly become niche.

Blizzard, and Blizzcon, has shaped me for a decade and a half. Some of the best connections ever. I always wondered what a beat em up would be like if Blizzard made it. So I created one. store.steampowered.com/app/2335060/RA… See you nerds in Anaheim.
