This is disturbing. When we elect politicians and prop up professors/academics who promote censorship, we should not be surprised if we move more towards authoritarianism.

My gosh, Watson is bad. It appears he not only was not healthy enough to play, but he didn’t want to play. And bc of that, his play on the field looks atrocious. Body language is bad. #browns

Claire has only ran 3 800 meter races in her life, and the other two she was in lane 1 so didn’t have to worry about cutting. At conf today she was lane 3 and cut 10 meters early and she got DQed after blazing a 2:32 and winning by 6 seconds. At least this was just 7th grade

The fire has to come from within. If you look at the research on prodigies and phenoms who eventually become standout adult performers, a deep intrinsic drive is a requirement. The problem is that success often pulls us away from this inner drive.

Whoever decide to play “rock you like a hurricane” as bumper music to the OSU game, probably not a good idea. Especially when over 50 people died as a result.

When you make practice the best part of a kid's day, it's amazing the effect those kids will have on your coaching. When you make the classroom the best part of a kid's day, it's amazing the effect those kids will have on your teaching. Keep up the good work, Mark!

Success and performance speak for themselves—but too many still try to reinvent the wheel or assume they know better. When someone like Tony is willing to share his knowledge, the move is simple: pay attention, learn, and execute.
