It is with great sadness we share the passing of active member, Brother Paul Materiuk. Paul was passionate about this job, the military, veterans, and spent most of his free time fishing. Our condolences to family and friends of brother materiuk, he will be greatly missed.

Today we were shocked and saddened to learn of the loss of one of our own after a long battle with pulmonary hypertension. While our collective hearts are broken, our thoughts are with Andrew’s family at this time.

Crews have been busy since Thursdays downtown fire, working 12 to 14 hour days to get residents back in their homes and ensure the scene is safe. HFD would like to thank community members for their support over the weekend. A tired crew worked throughout the long weekend.
