#Today in Ajuran IDP camp: Cash-for-work participants conducting site cleaning exercise in Ajuran site. Besides improving living conditions in the camp, the activity also help participants to gain knowledge on health hazards & environmental pollution management. Somalia Humanitarian Fund
This week, NoFYL initiated dialogue sessions on housing, land & property across 5 sites in Belet-Xawa. The 6 month activity, supported by Somalia Humanitarian Fund will create space for communities to discuss HLP related issues, mitigate conflicts & enhance peaceful coexistence in camps.
1⃣5⃣ GBV service providers, all female, attended a 4-day capacity building training on survivor-centered approach (SCA) and psychosocial first aid (PFA) in Beled-Xawa district. The training was made possible thanks to support from UNFPASomalia
Our CCCM team is going door-to-door in #IDP camps in Deynille district to record cases & create awareness on complaint feedback mechanism (CFM). The visits ensures the mechanism is accessible to all groups, including PWDs, minority groups and socially excluded IDPs Somalia Humanitarian Fund
