Seynab was part of a 4-month Cash-for-work program funded by Somalia Humanitarian Fund in Deynille, which concluded in February.

Using the savings she accumulated from the program, she set up a small business at her site and has doubled her income.

To help meet their immediate hygiene needs, 177
women & girls in #Dollow received Dignity Kits.

Additionally, our team held awareness sessions on #GBV & also did sessions aimed at transforming harmful social norms surrounding menstrual health and hygiene.

The Gu rains have triggered flash floods across displacement sites in Deynille.

Our Camp Coordination & Camp Management Mobile teams were on the ground to see the devastation caused by the #floods & assess the scale of needs.

The data collected will guide the response strategy

Suubow and her family found solace in the light of solar-powered lanterns distributed by NoFYL.

'Children can now sleep more soundly, I can cook outside and I also feel safe going to the toilet now that it is no longer dark,' she says.

Displaced & without income, Qaali faced eviction but received cash assistance in time to use.

Lack of light is one of the main challenges in IDP sites in #Somalia , leading to safety & #GBV risks & restricting daily life after sunset.
