This quote hits at the importance and power of shared fraud intelligence. If your organization isn’t part of a network to share fraud feedback, you are not as effective at detecting and preventing fraud as you could be. Plus, size matters!

Do you agree? I think Trust and Collaboration, not Fraud, makes the world go round. Fraud is the looming threat that can knock the world off its axis if we don’t protect against it. Or maybe I’ve watched too many Sci-fi movies 😊. Plus, the quote almost sounds like fraud won.

This is one time consumer education is making a difference — everyone has to be a fraud fighter against scams! Scams will exist as longer as there are bad actors and curious people, in other words FOREVER. Consumer education and advanced fraud detection must be used together.

The best fraud analytic models leverage a comprehensive view of identity (digital, physical, and behavioral), a network of shared intelligence and truth data to detect fraud. That’s a puzzle worth solving!
