I’ve had some messed up interactions with the cast at Sesame Place. They’re not inclusive or customer oriented, which is what happens when it’s essentially a very young staff on a power trip. Those kids deserve a direct apology.

Hey LG Electronics We’ve been trying to line up a service appt for our fridge for 2 weeks & your team keeps giving us the run around. You say you’ll send the auth letter to the servicer & you don’t. I have two young kids &no working fridge. You can bet I will never buy another LG product.

A game I’ve been playing since we moved into our new home is “Is this a feature or a bug?” The experience has been like moving in with someone and learning they leave their cereal bowl on the counter with the milk in it all day.

Apologies to the interviewer who had to hear about my WFH with a toddler struggles. Parents of small children are not okay even if the world wants to pretend things are fine. Also if you emailed me for an interview and I didn’t respond, I was prob picking up cheerios.

Every daycare has a waiting list, there's no childminding, formula is $50+ a can, there's no childrens' tylenol, people complain when you bring your kids *anywhere*, no mask mandate in schools, kids home sick most days a month - how are you doing, parents? Like HOW are you

Yesterday, one of our students nearly fainted at school because she hadn’t eaten. We gave her two apples. She ate one, and put one in her bag for her younger sibling. Talking about cost of living isn’t enough. Our children are starving.

A little late but check me out on NPR. The episode is about grasslands—it’s all good stuff. I come in around the 33 min mark.

HOW FASHION BRANDS DIE (A STRUCTURAL VIEW) 🧵 Tiffany and Nike announced a collab today, leading to a lot of debate on Twitter (does it suck, does it not suck). I think it sucks, but want to use the launch to talk about how fashion brands—especially luxury ones—eventually die
