We held a Connection with a Cop event yesterday at the Parks at Arlington with our South Retail District Unit. We had a lot of folks come out! Great conversations on making Arlington stronger!

Thankful we were able to help find the bad guy who shot a Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy. With the help of Texas AG’s Office, U.S. Marshals Service North Texas Fugitive Task Force & other law enforcement, we found him in a local motel. He tried to run on foot but didn’t get far! Arrested!

Congrats Deputy Chief Christopher Cook for being sworn in as the President of the National Information Officers Association today representing the largest group of government and public safety communicators in the world. He will represent City of Arlington and Arlington, TX Police well!
