Today we finished our unit on Picasso with another outdoor gallery walk and critique 🎨 The 6th graders loved the sunshine and sharing their work with each other☀️

It has been a great morning back from break ☀️ Started today with a Morning Meeting with the 7th Grade DLA students and our virtual class pet, Ziggy! 🦎 It was wonderful learning about their vacation. Lots of playing outside, movies, and time with family!

It was wonderful meeting so many families at tonight’s Open House! In addition to learning about art and design class, families created their own tiny art show drawings 🎨 Loved seeing their creativity!

Today we had a gallery walkthrough and critique on students’ digital animal illustrations created in Google Drawings. I love seeing students sharing their work with classmates! 🎨

Thank you to everyone that came out to support all the wonderful artists of Douglas Public Schools and the DMS PTO! It was a wonderful night celebrating the arts 🎨
