And now for question #5: what do you want to see more on the future for queer literature? What do YOU want to experience? #KidlitPrideChat

MORE VOICES! More experiences! Variations upon variations so that there’s no ONE TRUE voice of any identity or experience but good and messy and amazing and alright I guess versions for everyone. #KidlitPrideChat

More sapphic couples. More power struggling girls. More aromantic characters trying to deal with everything around them. #KidlitPrideChat

More queer Latinxs stories, more Afro-Latinxs stories, more Latinx stories from low-income households, more Latinx stories that don't revolve around pain, more genre literature with casual queerness. More opportunities for queer Latinxs folks. #KidlitPrideChat

More trans girls & boys falling in love! More non-binary characters! Queer versions of common tropes! For example, I would LOVE to see more queer love triangles like with Felix Ever After

And now, for our final question: how was your experience with #Kidlitpride? What was your favorite panel? Whose work did you discover, and what more do you want to see in the future for this event? #Kidlitpridechat

This has been amazing and terrible and awesome and fun and scary. I LOVED being on the A-Spec panel, I was honored to be a fly on the wall of the MG panel. I’m amazed at how much talent came together and how many voices were given their first chances to talk. #KidlitPrideChat

I want KLP to be able to do ALL THE THINGS! Like discussion guides for educators and librarians. And MORE PANELS. And maybe going live. Also, just GIVING OURSELVES MORE TIME! #KidlitPrideChat

I loved doing my panels on #Kidlitpride! I participated both in the Aromantic/Asexual panel and in th Queer experience across the globe with Lucas Rocha | A História que Nunca Vivemos 📓 and vitor martins (and it was one of the best experiences in panels, EVER, and not just because we're friends) #KidlitPrideChat

And I'm hoping KLP becomes a thing that we can all participate and engage on, and that our experience with the festival can grow and encompass even more people! Just more overall ❤️ #KidlitPrideChat

You can watch *ALL* our panels, and they'll stay up in our channel so you can watch them whenever you want. They'll be available forever! Thanks for making this event what it was! x.com/KidlitPride/st…
