1/2 Residents of Hillhurst Sunnyside will recognize this building as being the recent home of Oak Tree Tavern. The middle section was once a home, occupied by realtor Fred Paine, who listed it for sale in 1929, before the stock market crash. It didn't sell.

Fossils of petrified wood, oysters, hadrosaurs (duck-billed dinosaurs), and ornithomimids (bird-mimic dinosaurs) are relatively common in the badlands around Drumheller. What types of fossils are found where you live?

In 1960, the Lazy Susan Grill in #YYC's new North Hill Shopping Centre issued a souvenir paper placemat. It was entitled "An Unbiased Map of Alberta" and the province's Lucky Neighbours weren't left out.

Least you think the National Post is not responsible for Terry Glavin's misleading column pushing residential school denialism, look what it chose to profile on the front page of the weekend edition. Absolutely repugnant.

At #YYJ’s Craigdarroch Castle, a National Historic Site & once the campus of Victoria College, now #UVic. The labour practices of owner Robert Dunsmuir made him “one of the most controversial” of Canada’s leading industrialists. Quite a place to visit on #LabourDay!

I’ve come up with an interim solution to the queuing issue to see the Queen’s coffin in Westminster, let me know what you think, it’s not perfect but I don’t see anyone else coming up with anything

The Princess Bride recently turned 35 years old. So grateful to have been a part of that piece and to everyone who had a hand in making it come to life.
