CBC radio announcer, Bill Reid, in Toronto in 1948. Reid would later focus on art, becoming a legendary Haida visual artist. Reid, born in Victoria to an American father and Haida mother, passed away in Vancouver in 1998 at 78.

Quebec Nordiques playing an exhibition game against the Philadelphia Blazers in Quebec in 1972 during their first WHA season. The Blazers would become the Vancouver Blazers shortly after. Note Maurice Richard as the coach of the Nordiques - something he did only a few times.
