Grief is so weird. One day you think of them and you don’t feel so... affected. You miss them but you’re okay. Another day, you’re minding your business and something minor reminds you of them. Next thing you know, you’re in tears and sad for the rest of the day. Sigh.

IDK HOW MANY TIMES THIS NEEDED TO BE SAID BUT IMMA SAY IT AGAIN BCS SOME PEOPLE BE DUMB- YOU SHOULD NEVER KISS SOMEONE ELSE’S CHILD. EVER. EVEN WHEN THE PARENTS DIDN’T SAY ANYTHING. PERIODTTTTTTT.

I said goodbye to a patient today. Not a COVID patient, a leukemia patient who is dying. She always made me laugh and today my mask got all messed up from crying. She said, “I thought I would have more time. But I’m ready. I love you!” And blew me a kiss. Really messy mask. 😢

1. My body my choice is fine for masks, but not for women’s reproductive rights? 2. The “I can’t breathe” comment is extremely insensitive. 3. Denying science sets an extremely dangerous precedent. 4. This has gotten way out of hand and will only lead to more and more deaths.

The part of grief that gets me the most is when your lying in bed at night and reality kicks in that there really dead and you won’t see them again that pain in your chest and the wave of not been able to breath .. truly soul destroying
