Here’s what I’ll say: We do our party a disservice when the people we choose to be our fighters are not in fighting shape. And we do a greater disservice when we penalize our fighters for doing just that.

We as a party have to pursue BOTH quantity AND quality when it comes to our elected officials. Having one is useless without the other.
