After 1.5 hours of refreshing I got a vaccine appointment for tomorrow! NYC people: Javits Center has a ton of appts that go super quick just keep refreshing!

In honor of the 30+ threshold in New York, they should start blasting bangers from the 2000s at vaccination sites, like Missy Elliott or some reggaeton or a remix of Electric Feel. Temporary ban on sad Xanax TikTok music.

Disappointed to learn Weill Cornell Medicine doesn't participate in a public cord blood banking program - as one of the best NYC hospitals for giving birth, I would hope this type of service would be a priority. Also sad that NY Blood Center no longer accepts donations of cord blood. Why?

The worst parts of having COVID while 7 mos pregnant (so happy I’m double vaxxed/boosted bc otherwise this would def be a dangerous case) are: not being able to lay down face up, not being able to snuggle w/ cat & worrying about lack of kicks every hour. Mask up pregnant ppl.

Deep into researching baby gut biomes after being prescribed antibiotics while breastfeeding - we need more studies into the impacts of various drugs and other things on breastmilk. I’ve enrolled in one (re: BRCA1) and if anyone knows of any others let me know. #MedTwitter
