I agree that marriage is between 1 man and 1 woman, but nowhere in Scripture is a man limited to just 1 wife, nor is it mandated. We can’t affirm only what tradition accepts while ignoring what God allowed. Biblical marriage includes both monogamy & poly, and God honored both.

Interesting for you to say, Bryson. If you're reading Paul in a way that aligns with the Torah and the Gospels, why do you believe polygyny is a sin? That would mean your interpretation of Paul contradicts scripture, Torah never condemned it, and God never called it sin.

This logic falls apart when you realize YAH didn’t just regulate poly, He participated in the imagery. YAH describes Himself as husband to two women. He gave David wives, That’s not reluctant regulation, that’s divine provision. If its sin, He wouldn’t describe Himself thru it.
