St Albert (12-13) hands Ankeny Christian Academy their first loss with a 58-56 substrate win. The Falcons return to the tourney for third time in last four years and will be in their 14th State Meet.

Considering the schedule they played and some of the wins they have on their resume, I have a hard time understanding how any sane individual could seed St. Albert below Alburnett. But that's just me.

If a coach can't trust your effort in the weight room, in the classroom, and at practice, how can you be trusted to play in a game?

The main flaw in BCMoore’s excellent computer is it has no idea how good Elkhorn Mt. Michael is (4th in Neb Class B/equivalent to Iowa 3A). Therefore most Iowa 1A coaches won’t grasp how impressive tonight’s win was for St. Albert. So it was worth this tweet. Great work, Falcons!
