We are so thankful that our students are able to have experiences like this before they graduate. Thank you Leah Copeland, Ph.D., Winnwood Elementary School, and NKC Schools for allowing our students to take part in these experiences in their journey to become educators!

I tell my students that ELA is a thinking class, which allows us to examine the human nature through lenses of characters' lives and struggles.  When students can empathize with characters' living experiences, their perspectives of life transform wondrously. #NCTEchat #WhyIWrite
