So many questions about this window. The owners and Ridsdale have a lot to answer for over this striker situation. Shambolic to be honest, even for our standards! Seems they have been trying to low ball offers all summer and ended up with egg on their faces. #pnefc

I have no doubt the money is limited and there are good intentions at the club. But it is frustrating the shared perception of a lack of ambition, a lack of direction and the nonexistent project at #pnefc long-term… This was meant to be a time to start building a team for the

Just catching up. Got to laugh. What a farce. money, no money, some money for bids, then can only do loans, want a striker, need a striker . No striker. Hope to god there is something happening in terms of selling the club or I can’t quite make out what the hell that was #pnefc

Wheelton_white But, but, but . . . following COVID Peter Ridsdale said repeatedly we would be able to compete with any club in the Championship because we paid our bills. Surely that wasn't (yet more) hot air and waffle... Thankfully, most #pnefc see through his nonsense.

We were never going to buy anyone or sell anyone today. it was all just “Media talk” and there’s no point in showing any frustration or being pissed off cos the club don’t care about us so may as well just get another hobby away from football and just show up on a Saturday #pnefc

A good start to the window has petered out. Better squad with better balance but an over reliance on Millys goals and young loanees will eventually be our undoing I fear. When the inevitable ban comes we only have ourselves to blame if the goals dry up. #pnefc

The Chap reflects thus: For the prices we paid, our permanent signings represent good business with a couple having potential sell-on value. The loan signings add some sparkle but they aren't our players. A transfer window born of necessity whilst lacking in ambition. 6/10 #pnefc
