4A 🥎Team To Watch: Andale / Garden Plain is 14-6 on the year with three losses to the 5A/6A level. Elsie Johnson, Kaylie Altman & Emery Benson-Hladik hit home-runs to lead the way in sweep over Mulvane this week. Benson - Hladik’s 5th & Johnson’s 2nd of the season.

State Bound!! Final Score Andale/GP Softball beats McPherson 8-5 in the Regional Championship. They punch a trip to Salina in the 4A State Tournament. A fun hard working group of girls and coaches!

No. 8 Andale-Garden Plain softball came back from a 3-1 deficit late to defeat top-seeded Scott City 6-3 in 8 innings in the first game of the 4A State softball tournament.The Indians-Owls will play at 11 a.m. Friday against either No. 4 Circle or No. 5 Fort Scott.

On to the championship! Andale/Garden Plain will play for a State Championship! They will play the winner of Eudora/Wamego. Win over Circle 8-1!

Andale-Garden Plain (19-9) will play Wamego or Eudora in the 5 pm title game. The Indians start four freshmen and two sophomores. Kaylee Altman, the team’s only senior, had a pair of doubles and drove in three runs. Circle (24-6) will play for third place at 3:00. KSHSAA
