Hey all! I’m Kayla Minnett with N.Fagan Meats. I’ll be kicking off this season of Young Farmer of the week. I own a Beef Cattle operation with my spouse Nelson Fagan Jr. We have an Abattoir, Butcher Shop and also grow root vegetables and summer savoury.

Today is another busy day here at N.Fagan Meats We are cutting pre sold beef boxes, quarters and sides of beef. Meatballs are one of our biggest sellers. Last week we individually weighed, rolled, packaged and sold over 3500 meatballs. That is 194 bags of meatballs and 427 lbs!!

Today was a delivery day here N.Fagan Meats. We also operate under Beothuk Land & Cattle Company so anytime you see that label it is also us!!! We provide 12 Stores/Markets and Restaurants with our products. 3 of the newest being @doughbysbakery @njskitchen and Indian Express Food Truck

Last week was an emotional one. We love all our animals and we get pretty sad when some have to go! We butchered the first pure bred Charolais breeding bull Hugo we had bought for our herd. For us and our herd it was time to part ways but it still didn’t make it any easier!
