So nice to meet @JTweedleRD in person finally when she came to my door tonight. I think it says a lot that I've lived in Red Deer many years and never had my MLA or any candidate come to my door to try and earn my vote.

The thing no one tells you about overworking yourself is how hard it is to stop when you realize what kind of productivity you can achieve when you just never stop working. It feels like you are doing a worse job because you aren't picking up the slack in your not-working hours.

If teachers and school staff only did what they are contracted to do and ONLY worked the hours that they are paid to work— every school would have to shut down because it wouldn’t be able to function.

We celebrate Pi Week Eckville Jr/Sr High! Got pied in the face yesterday to raise money for earthquake relief in Türkiye and Syria. I think there might still be whipped cream in my hair.

Teachers love Admin who: 1) Roll up their sleeves to help 2) Really listen 3) Present: in classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, lunchroom 4) Value teachers time 5) Support/encourage them 6) Respect /value them 7) Have their back 8] Appreciate them
