A fleeting glimpse of this unique tradition can be seen in the movie #Baramulla, though many non-Kashmiris might not have fully understood its cultural and spiritual significance. Gaad Batte is a winter ritual observed by Kashmiri Pandits, a sacred feast dedicated to the Ghar

Not a review of Baramulla: For years I wondered what would be the best genre to tell our story on screen most effectively. What should be the cinematic language that can be used to show a continual Genocide on screen? What can be both subtle and effective? What can be both

5 years. 2 films. 1 journey. So many struggles, heartbreaks, & sleepless nights... But I still yearn to return... I still see the valley in my dreams... Until we meet again, O Kashmir, my mother... I will always carry you in my heart & never forget you. #Baramulla #Article370

Today was the day, 36 years ago, when innocent Kashmiri Hindus were betrayed, looted, raped, murdered, ethnically cleansed, and exiled by their own friends and neighbours. Today was the day when they became refugees in their own land. Never forget. Never. #KashmiriHinduGenocide

This day back in 2003, in Nadimarg, Kashmir, Pakistani Zia Mustafa lined up 23 Kashmiri Hindus and shot them point blank. As Zia was fleeing he heard a baby cry. "Ye karnawun chupe" ordered his friend. The baby became the 24th victim. To forgive Pakistanis is to forget Indians.

Today 23 Years ago in these now empty houses of Nadimarg, 24 Kashmiri Hindus were shot dead point blank. The locals say that they could not hear the shooting because the loudspeakers in the mosques were blaring loud. I am a Kashmiri Hindu. Liberals tell me I am Islamophobic.

People often ask why my Kashmiri Pandit elders left the Valley and didn’t fight. Samay Raina puts it aptly: they chose to survive so our legacy could endure. They prioritized our education, empowering us to thrive in every corner of the world. I am so proud of our elders. No
