Respect for #MentalHealth peer workers 🙏🙏 The mental health system needs greater human rights culture and compliance, but it also needs alternative ways of knowing and being. Peer work provides an example of this.

So excited to work with our partners, particularly lived experience leaders, to deliver this critical and exciting service for healing. This presents a wonderful opportunity to reshape and centre the role of lived experience across leadership, governance, practice and knowledge.

This mental heath week provides an opportunity to progress the conversation on how peer led models can and must shape mental health reform.
