I welcome the £300k provided by Government for a flexible fund to support survivors to flee domestic abuse. I have a longstanding view that flexible funding is a practical and cost effective approach. This fund is more important than ever in light of the cost of living crises.

🔔Applications are open for Women's Aid & Home Office's scheme that provides one-off payments to #DomesticAbuse survivors who can't afford to leave their abuser. I hope this funding reaches as many survivors as possible, including those facing the greatest barriers to support⬇️

The flexible fund is available to survivors in England & Wales who are receiving support from a local Women's Aid member service, or sector delivery partner. This includes those with no recourse to public fund. You do not have to be in temporary accommodation to access the fund.
