I’m not trying to hear any criticism on the way Angela Bassett reacted to not winning. Especially from white people. Please go to hell! She had every right to feel how she felt in that moment. Critiquing someone for being human is insane. It shouldn’t even be a discussion.

My favorite part of the Caitlyn Clark/Angel Reese discourse is that the gesture we're all talking about was popularized by a white dude but jacked from a Black man. It's a racial double standard and an cultural appropriation 2-for-1. Fun times.

Music of my childhood can remind me how I grew up impoverished and how I was sad a lot about being poor. Studies have shown there is a relationship between poverty and depression. I didn't know that as a kid. I just knew I didn't want to be poor and live in substandard housing.
