My MA final project explored the experience of place in California, so I'm thrilled to have a piece forthcoming in the great underscore_magazine that includes exactly that! Here comes instability, a shifting identity, and the sense that you can never go back to what you were.

Honored to be part of this issue with a micro inspired by Elsie Walker, the young woman whose 1928 murder in Aotearoa New Zealand remains (technically) unsolved.
