We have also asked European Commission to ensure that Regulatory Scrutiny Board members refrain from meeting lobby representatives to avoid actual and perceived undue influence on their work. [2/2]
In our letter, we note European Commission's progress in assessing the risk of exposure of its depts to tobacco lobbyists, and look forward to its conclusions. We remind the EC of the importance of evaluating on a case-by-case basis if interactions with tobacco reps are necessary.
