We have found maladministration in European Commission handling of access to docs request related to the preparation of a meeting between its President and the Tunisian President. None of the documents provided covered internal exchanges or exchanges with Member States.

We have asked European Commission and EU Council to improve compliance with EU case law on access to legislative documents. Arguments relied on by both institutions to justify refusing access to documents have been dismissed by the EU Court (EU Court of Justice).
