How we roll.

We are gearing up for our release on App Store. Still planned before end of 2022, fingers crossed 🤞 Tact will be available in all countries, except Russia and Belarus. We do not intend to ever do business with, or serve any customers, in those countries.

Tact is initially a private chat app without any public visibility. If we end up ever having publicly visible content, this looks like a handy tongue-in-cheek cheat sheet.

Tact was easily the best lil' software experience I had today, and if "having good software experiences in a given day" sounds normal to you, I bet you'll like it too

The first Tact app update is here. We fixed an unfortunate “Unknown error” when you connect with others, added some language to clarify iCloud Drive requirement, and more. justtact.com/blog/first-tac…

Apple recently announced Advanced Data Protection for iCloud. I was obviously very interested in it for @tact. I thought what it means for developers using CloudKit, read the docs, asked the Apple staff, and wrote up my findings. blog.justtact.com/advanced-data-… 1/2

Tact traces our lineage back to Skype. You could say that Tact is a speculative exploration of some ideas that we feel were not developed to their full potential. This is a great look back at Skype heritage.
