So sad today as we said goodbye to our wonderful 16year old spaniel, Harry. Our hearts are broken.

Today I have written to the Prime Minister about the conduct of one of his members of parliament, ex-PM Liz Truss.

We welcomed Fionnlagh (Finlay) into our world on 3 August. He was Tyson, but we didn’t think that name suited him. Fionnlagh is a 10 month old Golden Retriever who is settling very well and seems pleased to be with us too. He is such an affectionate boy and his cuddles are 1/4

2/4 waggy and energetic. We had previously adopted Benson from Irish Retriever Rescue in 2009 and had nearly 11 wonderful years with him and his rescue springer spaniel brothers and sister. Sadly they are all gone and having lost the last 16 year old spaniel earlier this year

3/4 we felt a golden shaped hole to fill. Fionnlagh is an absolute delight and is enjoying walks on the Heath and in the woods. He quite liked the beach but really was not sure about the sea! His boundless energy is matched by his new best friend, Copper, who we looked after

4/4 for a few days and who comes for ‘playdates’. We are so lucky to have him and thank IRR for trusting us to be the right humums for this lovely boy. — with Ali Rix.
