Fully agree. I worked at a national bank in 2008 and the work over the last 15 years has made every bank (big and small) infinitely safer. Still, I'm glad to be at an east coast startup with a boring bank today.

A lot less panic by regulators and bankers, yes. But not the same trust by deposit holders and companies that need to make payroll. Still scary.

Lots of hair-on-fire moments for many startups today, but impressive how quickly this payroll scare is getting fixed.
