Linear roadmaps are misleading without a crystal ball for seeing the future. A roadmap that recognizes the existence of risk as time goes on is more honest. But an effective PM needs to anticipate possible branches, too - and create clear criteria for following each path.

Good user research should highlight the biggest needs, but there’s no such thing as knowing all requirements before you begin designing. Co-designing or reviewing early concepts with users & experts helps clarify & build upon initial requirements.

My prediction: the next generation of design systems are going to be more heavily influenced by DevOps practices and principles, and many design-led systems aren't ready for that
