“Staples Canada is going to be responsible for its own leasing costs, that saves the public purse $1 million over this three-year pilot project” said Minister McCarthy. However, the independent ServiceOntario’s being shut down for this were already paying their own leasing costs.

This week, the NDP called for an investigation into Loblaw and possible collusion as it announced it was amending its 50% reduction on certain food to 30%.
