Just a reminder that Everton immediately suspended their record signing Gylfi Sigurdsson after his allegations surfaced. He wasn’t even charged, but he never played for Everton again. Compare that to how Arsenal have treated Thomas Partey…it’s night and day.

Reality is all these mid table clubs wish they could build themselves up the way Levy did with us. Capturing global markets, world class facilities, a stadium that secures us financially. The club outgrew him & he was terrible on the football side but the foundation is phenomenal

Levy took Spurs from mid-table mediocrity to consistent CL qualification and at their peak dominated Real Madrid’s 3peat team and got to a CL final (far better indicators of a top process than a Europa League win which was ofc great for the fans). Main criticisms from me were

Levy Out. The chant sung by many Spurs fans over the past few years has finally become reality. Daniel Levy steps down as executive chairman. He did some good things during his 24 years running Spurs. He built the best stadium in the country, well-designed, good for fans

Honestly the referees & VAR have had an absolute shocker of a start to the season. If that goal is disallowed for a foul you will never ever see a corner be taken without referee blowing for something ever again🫣🤷🏻‍♂️

Spurs are at home and can go up to 2nd — 2 points off top — with a win against bottom of the table Wolves who are yet to pick up a point all season. I’ve never been less confident in my life. #THFC

3 years ago we beat them to grab top 4 It’s actually embarrassing how far we’ve regressed They’re the best team in the league. Kills me to admit it, but that’s the truth

For a bit of extra context. In our last 14 matches we've got 3 more points than Wolves had in their first 14 - when there was speculation that they might beat Derby's record. That's how bad we are.
