READY TO FILL MY SEPT WITH CHIEFS AND ERAS APPS🫶🏽

Anxiety is double triple quadruple checking any action taken before finally just submitting the app😭😭

On the bright side MY APP IS FINALLY SUBMITTED😌

Finished my Last Sub-I and on my way back to KC to prep for the next few months! So thankful for U of C for having such an amazing program and integrating us into their busy workflow☺️

Im on Day 2 of no clinical rotations in 4th year and I am starting to understand why everyone said they loved M4 year like I can see my parents and friends and exercise multiple times like this is amazing😭

In my post-ERAS submission pre-Interview state, I have started pushing myself to do new experiences. Today, I chose to try rock climbing and my finger and forearm muscles are ON FIRE!!!!

I met Dr. Fauci today!!!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩

Excited for future EM applicants if they do move forward away from Eras! If it entails more affordable applications and easier process, it will really help applicants who may not have the financial assistance that others may have the luxury for!!!!

Finished my first interview of the season! Excited for many more to come :)

Went to a Taylor Swift party with some friends last night and of course the one bracelet I received was You Need To Calm Down😂🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

On my overnight ED call yesterday, more than 50% of the patients I cared for were Spanish speaking only. Being able to bypass the need for an interpreter streamlined their care and helped create quick rapport. Better language access leads to better health outcomes!
