Did Anthropic silently update models today? Noticing an extremely stark difference in quality since this morning in Claude Code- both me and our other developer *working on separate codebases* had Claude insert limit(2) or first(2). What's going on?

The old Anthropic prompt caching API was a mistake. It demanded you to specify exactly which messages to cache, polluting the messages blocks and complicating the API. Glad they reverted to the industry standard global cache control.
