Valentine’s Day Election

GOP leadership wants to not only control where we think, but when, how and most importantly, what we think. The pattern of, dare I say, racist opposition to education and cultural appreciation of Black Americans is under attack at every major institution. wapo.st/3XpJ7Q4

Just watched the whole episode and it is so good. Our State is so wrong.

Post 1: As previously reported, the Tower Theatre operating group sold a majority ownership to an out-of-state entity in order to stabilize and then help grow operations. The fact that Stephen Tyler and @405chad led us through Covid

Post 2: speaks to the skill, talent, work ethic, and care they have for live music and the OKC community. Stephen stepping away from the Tower has been gut-wrenching. He is a friend and someone who has invested himself completely into the success of the Tower.

Post 3: He is freakishly brilliant and will still change this City moving forward, it will just be in a different capacity. Chad is now the person tasked to lead the venue moving forward.

Post 4: Just like Stephen, Chad has given everything to this venue and the people in it. At times Chad and I are on different sides of issues, but what is core to him is that he loves this City, wants to care for those whose voices are not being heard,

Post 5: and believes that our best days are yet to come. He is a friend, a great leader, and fully capable to lead us into the next chapter.

Post 6: To those who have gone to the @TowerTheatreOKC , @BeerCityOKC , and @PonyBoyOKC , thank you. Pivot 's desire all along has been that these buildings and its space would be a benefit to the community. Because of Chad, Stephen, and everyone else these hopes are realized

(2/2) 4) What teeth does the community benefits package have to ensure it has similar success to the Milwaukee Bucks 5) Have we vetted as a City what we are giving up on investing in by building the new arena?
