Shannen Doherty Dr Peter Hoare ⌬ (Ph or pH? 🤔) 🏴 Twinkl Resources As a teacher you should remember that everyone learns differently. Many people are visual, especially when it comes to maths which is a common difficult area for people. To need something visually no matter how ‘easy’ you think it may be is not a failing!

Pamela Snow @GaleMorrisonEd Ampzilla Spring Branch Literacy Initiative @missypurcell1 Kristie Clark, M.Ed. Ms. Benison- I don’t think photos of mouths forming the sounds are very helpful. A mirror is more useful if the child needs to see himself and feel where teeth, tongue, and lips are positioned. Obviously, the teacher saying the sounds is important, so child should face the teacher.
@StephLeLievre_ Jasmyn Natalie Campbell Teresa Conradt Jasmine Shannon I have just had a very quick look and my mind is blown! This is such an amazing resource; absolute wowsers. Thank you and congratulations 👏
Wizzobravo 🏳️🌈🇺🇦 Can you name someone, anyone, who advocates “teaching only phonics”?
Pamela Snow As evidence about RR grows, it raises more questions about the research that supposedly shows positive impacts from RR. The controversy generally creates more concerns about education research and what can be taken at face value.
Andrew Percival I’m guessing it’s because it is implemented without an understanding of the theory that sits under it and/or without the other supports and scaffolding that need to occur around it. It was not meant as a behaviour management tool.
