Thanks for your kind words Roast Restaurant – it was a labour of love and I'm so, so delighted to give those incredible guys a voice. The state of fishing in this country is farcical and it's high time the government gave the small boats much more support.

Thanks so much to the GuildofFoodWriters for the Tweet... I"m happy to tell the story of these beleaguered food producers. Anything that can help...

Not impressed... invited to sample tasting menu Meraki London and gave up Saturday night to review it. (Not even being paid for the review....). We were given just 4 appetisers between us... had to stop at Tesco on the way home for food! JPR Media Group

People say it's undemocratic to want a second vote. But we weren't told what we were voting for first time round and the first vote was far too early. "Vote, but we're not telling you what the implications are..." Crazy.

Just opened in London, Xier Restaurant is phenomenal. I've rarely come across a chef who understands balance of sour, sweet, hot and salty as well as Carlo Scotto does...

Interesting wine tasting with Zonin 1821 UK Loved Primitivo from Puglia, Castello di Albelo Santa Caterina Chianti Classico and Masseria Alemura Rosamaro Spumante Brut. Italian wines are so underrated. Thanks to Stellar PR and @ROKAcharlottest

So rude if someone comes up to talk to you at an event then spots someone they know and goes off to chat to them, leaving you high and dry. Surely the polite thing is to make sure you have someone else to chat to first!

I predict a Michelin star very soon for the uber-talented @ChefCarloScotto at the wonderfully soothing @Xier_London foodepedia.co.uk/restaurant-rev…

Anyone who wants some really, really good British charcuterie should go along to Borough @boroughmarket tomorrow where @BritCharcuterie will be showcasing some of last year's winners, as well as offering a free charcuterie trail for people to try out.

Anyone know where I can watch the Arsenal match on Weds in Marrakech? Are there any sports bars near the Medina. #marrakech #football #premiership #gooner

Which #marrakech restaurants and chefs should I be checking out? I'm particularly interested in people cooking authentic local food really well, or chefs who are creative in bringing different cuisines together #chefs #marrakechrestaurants

Ryanair and Stansted Airport have to be the epitome of hell. I'm never, ever using either of them again. Customer service is a thing of the past when it comes to flying... I'm surprised they don't charge you for using the toilet!

Vile stomach flu brought back from Marrakech. It's viral so not a lot I can do, but does anyone have any quick cures, even if they involved Black Magic? It's getting to be tedious...

Delighted to stay at the delicious Boutique Hotel Leone in Le Marche, an area of stunning unspoilt countryside, between mountains and sea. It's an ideal base for those who love walking, food or wine...and visit Ascoli Piceno, what a gorgeous little town!
